Cost comes first
We compare selected UK plans, not the whole market. No live offers are currently listed. When approved offers are added, default ranking uses upfront cost plus recurring payments and known fixed increases over the stated term. Commission is never a ranking input. Monthly sorting uses the headline recurring price; data sorting uses included GB.
What the calculator includes
Total = upfront payment + monthly price × months + fixed monthly increase × affected months + one-off fees + end/exit payments − verified discount. An increase starting in month 13 of a 24-month comparison applies for 12 months. All money is calculated in integer pennies. The break-even handset price is the bundled total minus the separate SIM's other costs.
Both scenarios cover months 1 through your chosen period. Average monthly cost is the total divided by that period. Values are rounded for display. The tool supports one fixed monthly increase per scenario. Further increases must be included manually. No resale value, financing interest, inflation, opportunity cost, out-of-allowance usage or insurance is included unless you add it.
Freshness and sources
Offers require source links, verified dates and approved affiliate URLs. Offers older than seven days or past their expiry are hidden in the browser, even if the build has not changed. Failed refreshes must not change verification dates. Always check final terms, eligibility, roaming and local coverage directly.
Data estimates
Usage is estimated over 30 days using explicit quality ranges shown in the estimator. Browsing is a planning assumption, not measured consumption. These are estimates, not guaranteed allowances.
