It's still in beta, but Nokia is feeling so confident about its new Windows 7-compatible version of
Nokia Software Updater that it's coming right out and saying that "this release candidate is almost ready to go live for all users and we only intend to keep it in
Beta Labs for a few weeks." Besides the all-important compatibility bump, the latest version of NSU also beefs up the robustness of the USB connection to the device (pretty important if you're interested in not bricking the phone -- something we've had happen before) and rolls out the changelog text in additional languages. It's available for download right now -- and next, Nokia, all you've got to do is finally make a Mac OS version of this thing.
